Food Ministry
2nd Saturday · 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Each second Saturday, our church family packs and distributes food for neighbors in need. All are welcome — both to receive and to serve.

Established 1831
“A faithful witness in Clarkston since 1831 — banded together to maintain the worship of God and proclaim the Gospel of Christ.”
— Our Covenant
Tim Chappell, our pastor at First Congregational Church of Clarkston, has been diagnosed with kidney and lung cancer. Tim and his wife Athena are facing substantial medical bills for diagnostics and the treatments ahead, with insurance that does not cover what’s required.
A pastor’s compensation rarely leaves room for a crisis like this one. If you have been blessed by Tim’s ministry — or if you simply want to stand alongside him and Athena in this season — your gift will go directly toward the costs of his care. Thank you.

Under the pastoral care of Pastor Tim Chappell, our congregation continues a witness that began in 1831 — proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and serving the Clarkston community with quiet faithfulness.

For nearly two centuries, this little white church has stood at the corner of Clarkston Road — a quiet anchor of faith and fellowship.

Established in 1831, First Congregational Church of Clarkston is one of the oldest churches in Oakland County. Generations of the Clarkston community have gathered here to worship, marry, mourn, and celebrate — and the witness continues today.

We are banded together as a Christian Church to maintain the worship of God, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, and to develop a consciousness of the Christian's relationship and duties to God and to the world around us.

We are a member congregation of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (NACCC) — a fellowship of independent congregations that hold Christ as Head and value local self-governance, freedom of conscience, and the gathered priesthood of all believers.
